Acceleration hesitation

I cant take off smoothly anymore. When I accelerate from a stop, the car does a bouncing, jerking type deal. Its as if its studdering when I give it gas. Im sure it could be caused by a lot of things (distributor, plugs/wires, idle air flow sensor...), but if someone has had this happen before, any ideas on what the problem may be would help me out a lot. Thanks in advance.

My first bet would be to check the spark plugs and the wires... had this happen to me before.. not on a lexus later found out that one of my sparkplug was not firing constantly... changed it and walaa... good luck buddy...

yeah check the plugs. one of my back ones was rubbed through. who knows how. but after 150k miles its bound to show some wear. I got some NGK and their are doing really well.
