noisy engine

not happy with the noise coming from motor. first thought it was noisy alternator so I removed the belt and noise still there. if you put ear to cover over plugs or as I put a socket extention on top of cover it sounds like a noisy bearing or a raspy sound coming from under cover. anyone have any answers. need help :cry: might help, 94 es 3000

Drop a quart of oil in it & listen to see if it quiets down. If it does it's time for a valve adjustment, or you're not using the right amount of oil.
