Default Best Plug?

Hey i just need some advice, im changing my plugs and it calls for dual prong on the hood, i found in old posts the 02 and up es300 used SK20 denso iridium plugs but those arent dual prong. Would i have a problem if i went to single prong? Is that denso the best plug i can buy for my solara v6?

Cool

<- goes BLLLLLAH at plugs with more than one electrode. Denso, or NGK Iridiums are the best you can buy, but I've never understood why people use them. They cost 2-3x more than a Denso / NGK platnium plug, they cost 9-11x more than a regular Denso/NGK plug, while not actually lasting any longer in the car.
The iridium plugs may be good for 80-100,000 miles, but by the time the regular 60,000m change interval rolls around, you're going to want to take them out & clean the carbon off of them anyways.

To me... I'd rather spent a few bucks a plug at most, change them when the OEM says change them & have a better spark after changing them than Iridium users paying $60-90 for 6 freaking plugs.
I just use normal NGK plugs. They're like $1-2 each (I still see them on-sale everywhere here for $1.50) & last as long as you would want any plug in the engine.

But ya, Iridium plugs are the best you can buy, except for copper plugs. Copper plugs you need to change damn near yearly tho & god forbid you're FI'ed, or running lotsa power. They're easy to melt!

I use Torque Masters in my RX300. The one thing I will say is the gas where I live is like pouring oil into your car (PEMEX). This stuff will not burn and only with the Torquemasters do I really get all of that gas burning.

In the USA, do what you want.

I would just use NKG like Pheonix states. Cheaper and lasts just as long.

I bought denso iridiums which are oem replacements for the es300s. Eventhough my car says to use dual prong on the hood.
