Heater problem?
A few nights ago I drove home from my g/f's house and it was really cold (40 degrees lol), so i decided to turn on my heater and all i got was cool air. Every thing works (a.c., mode, fan, lights, etc.) except the heater.
I'm thinking maybe the heater control valve, next to the firewall (in the engine compartment). Has anyone ever encounter this problem??? thanks! `97 es btw |
Sounds like a good call to me. If you can get back there, you can see if the valve moves or not.
How's the engine temp looking? If the thermostat is a fail safe one & sticks open - it'll run real cool b/c the coolant doesn't stay in the engine long enough @ one time to heat up to spec. |

My car has 130+k miles now, I'm not planning to do the next major service until 150~160. I'll get a friend and check out the valve ASAP. thanks |
