There is a God! (ES accident recovery thread)
I'm sitting in traffic on GA 400 last wednesday headed home, and out of nowhere come two SUV's who clearly were NOT paying attention to traffic. A Nissan SUV rearended a Jeep, causing the Jeep to smash into me.
Everyone got cited for the incident except for me. I was so pissed, it was hard to be too pissed off though when the driver at fault took all the blame and had called her insurance company before I had hung up with the cops.
This is what happened, used my phone to take the picture:
The photo doesn't show it, but the impact dented the right-side fender, buckled the trunk lid, and twisted the rear bumper slightly.
I will post more pics when I have a chance to take better ones.
I missed the insurance adjustor the other day, so it will be a couple of weeks before I can drive my Lex again. Currently, I'm driving a BMW 5...I feel like I'm cheating on my poor car.

Damages
The adjustor stopped by today and wrote up his report. This lady did $4,000 in damages to my car!
Glad it's her insurance.

Update!
Took my ES into the body shop today, getting everything fixed, including minor bruises before the accident. Also, they will be installing the 01 lights...decided that with all the flack I might as well put them on! Had to pay for new lights anyway.

Jeremy, glad to hear everything's going on the up and up with the recovery of your ES. I know what it's like since I was in that same position last March from an accident that was not my fault. Look on the bright side, your ride will be a LOT better than it was before, trust me
Keep us updated with new pics as well.

There is a God!
Got my Lex back this past friday. Lookin hot! New paint job, all dings, smudges and or scratches that it has collected are now gone! It's really looking nice. Oh yea, and I had the shop drop in 01 tail lights seeing as they had to replace my old ones anyway due to the accident. You guys were right, it deffinately looks a lot better with those lights.
I'm so glad to have it back, I drove a Nissan rental while my car was being worked on today, nice car but deffinately not a Lexus.
Pics coming as soon as I locate my digital camera...

hottness, glad to hear your ES is back and in brand spanking new condition. Nothing like having a whole new look, not to mention new parts as well Looking forward to the pics.
In case you didn't notice, I merged your old thread (the one detailing your ES accident) with your new thread so that people here will be better informed
