steering wheel vibration
 
i have a problem with my steering wheel as the steering wheel would continuosly move left and right about an inch or two at low speed, like under 40mph. the problem goes away at highway speed though. any suggestion? thanks.

Actually, if the vibration occurs at low speed, it might be out-of-round tires, not balancing. Have the tires checked out with Hunter's GSP9700 balancer, which also performs a road force test on the tires.

Align & balance. If it continues take it to a dealer.

CAHA14 is right. If you had your tires rotated recently you should have noticed it right away.
Cupped tires will cause a vibe in the steering wheel. Its something to do with being on the rear of the car for a long time. Likely thats your issue. If not take the next step as recommneded.
I dont know jack about cars but had my tires rotated on my 02 Tacoma Pickup and bam! there was the vibe. Talked to the NTB mgr and he schooled me.
