I want to add a license plate to the front of my ES, but there are no holes for it. Do I need to get them drilled in, or is there some sort of attachement to buy? Thanks.
Pretty sure your going to have to drill. Can I ask why you want to add a front license plate or do you have to due to state law? personally I would leave it alone for that nice 'n clean look.
I don't have to add a plate, but I just graduated from college, and I like the look of a platinum alumni plate for the front of my car. We'll see, though. I didn't want to drill. I was hoping there might be some kind of plastic holder that I could buy to attach it.
Don't drill holes in the face of the bumper!!! Check the DIY on CL about attaching a plate from the underside of the bumper using L clips and screws UNDER the bumper, so that you don't have to drill into the main bumper facade, only drilling would be done on the underside of the bumper!
As you can tell by my avatar I had some bumper issues. Every time I get it replaced the body shop decides to drill holes in my bumper (something I SPECIFICALLY told them not to do). I like the clean bumper look. So when I removed the license plate holder I am left with 2 holes in the bumper.
I wonder if I can sand it, fill them, and use touch up paint to cover it?

I would use the same bumper filler applicant as most of the quality body shops use to repair bumpers. I hear it's not like the Bondo product (often used on marine boats), and I don't believe this is the kind you can get at a local auto parts store like Autozone or whatever. You can inquire your body shop about this filler, or if you feel like it, save yourself the trouble by getting the holes filled up by the body shop.
