Getting a new Master Key / Valet Key?
 

Hey guys, is there any cheaper way to get a new master key or valet key made? I have one original master key for my 2000 es300, but I want to get another one made. I got quotes from two dealers for $210 and $225 and $72 and $78 for the valet key.

Is there any place to get these lexus keys made for cheaper?

Sort of an ebay junkie. I see tons of uncut Lexus keys. The thing is there is an FCC ID # behind your opener or key. You have to make sure they are compatible with your car. I know Home Depot will not make any keys for you unless you buy the lock from them (learned the hard way). But maybe try a local key shop and bid on the correct key and take it a local key shop?
