I've seen one clear out of the tail lights where the person used some sort of "riveted" clear plastic in place to take away the straight clear look. No clue whether I'm describing it right but it made the tail lights look like the ones on the newer car and not so "not stock", sorta more OEMish.

Edit: Anyone know where to get that kind of plastic? Hope I'm staying on topic..

also, try those lamp stores that sells glow sticks and glow in the dark stuff.. they usually carry those type of stuff you're looking for.. they sell it in sheeds.. cost no more than 10bucks for a foot.

Very Nice! love that look, i want to do this mod to my 93 ES. I heard that to pull apart the tail lights, you have to put it in the oven to melt the black silicon rubber, is this true?, if it is, what temperature do u set the oven to and for how long do u leave it in there for?? im a little scared to stick it in the oven since the plastic on the tail light might melt too.
