Hey buddy. Since you seem to be the resident authority, I thought I'd ask of all the aftermarket performance mods (that you know of) for a 96 ES. I haven't found too much, but here is what I have found:

Lowering Springs

Strut Bar

Someone has an aftermarket intake I am interested in!

K&N Filter

ECU upgrade from RM.com... not sure what that will do though.

That's about it I think... Any parts/brand names/ideas you could add to that (or anyone else who knows the part exists) would be extremely appreciated. Thanks, Ramsee1

 

As for lowering springs, don't quote me on this but the 92-96 Camry V6 springs should work. Our club member Sugi with 94 ES300 recently put lowering springs and tokico struts on his car. I believe he got these parts from Toysport. He is riding on 18" RH C5 Evolutions.

Strut bar, any Camry V6 one will fit i.e. Freedom Designs and etc. Please note that you will only have 1/4 clearance with the bar installed on a 1MZ-FE. The bar will rub on the intake plenum. You might want to even fit a OEM Solara strut bar. It does fit Gen3 92-96 Camry V6 models.

Aftermarket cold air intake. Talk to EL Prootypes, www.elprototypes.com. They are taking orders for these over the phone. They utilize a K&N Cylindrical filter, mandrel bent piping and an AEM bypass. Talk to Eric Lapka for this.

ECU reprogram, EL Prototypes can also do. Basically reprogs your ECU for optimal performance.

I appreciate you taking the time to research all these items for me. It is a great help. I've found a strut bar that the guys at Ractive said would fit. Also from Ractive I found an intake pipe with the cone filter as well. The ecu I will look into. Lowering springs too. I keep getting people telling me that lowering springs will make my ride less comfortable in general, but who knows. This is great though, exactly what I was looking for! Ramsee1
