Maguires clear lense ploish
Try Maguires Clear Plastic lense cleaner and polish. I've had really good results from their product.

Just taking a wild guess, but do you really mean the Check Engine light (i.e. the yellow warning light with an engine icon and the word 'CHECK' underneath it)?

Rear strut install
I came across a very informative write-up on a DIY rear strut assembly install for the '97-'01 ES. Looks like this can easily be done in your driveway with just a floor jack and a set of socket wrenches

Does anyone have a diagram for a 1993 ES300 power steering hoses?
You guys are right regarding using a 97-01Toyota Camry repair maunual from Haynes or Chilton, they are completely usless. After looking at my ES300 P/S pump, I'm scratching my head because the Camry P/S pump and hoses look a look more simple.
I converted from Honda guru to now Lexus newby. Whew, there's not much space to work on the P/S hose from underneath.
Does anyone have any pictures or a diagram showing how all the lines fit together? There should be 3-4 hoses.
Thanks guys.

A couple annoying things from my car that i haven't been able to figure out.
1. An annoying tap when the turn signals are on for a long time.
2. Vibration somewhere under the hood when I close the doors (not the license plates)

Trans drain and fill on 98?
Anyone have a trans drain and fill DIY they would like to post? I'm asking since the only other one in this thread is for '02 and up and that every person I ask locally has a different answer on how much fluid this takes. There are two drain plugs also.
I'll bet Phoenix has some info.

How to repair ES300 power antenna
I found the following link extremely useful
http://www.carstereohelp.com/stereor...S300PwrAnt.htm
since it provides detailed instructions and great pictures of how to install a new antenna mast or repairing the power antenna unit inside the trunk. I just went thru replacing the old mast with a new on my '94 ES300. Didn't even have to open the trunk and everything was done on the outside of the car. The most important tool to have is a pair of small angled (bent) needle-nose pliers to remove the slotted nut.
The above site also contains tips on how to remove/install stereo on just about any makes including all the Lexus models.
