1995 Es300
 

I just purchased a ES300 with the a remote key but it doesn't work. I replaced the battery in the key with no luck. I think I may need to program it. Does anybody know the procedures to do that. I read previous threads about how to program but they are for other years and when I tried them it don't seem to work. Exactly what is the procedure for a 95 ES300. Also is their another problem that is the reason it's not working. Any help would be appreciated.

93 or 95? I will have to consult my Mitchell Repair Guide and see what the procedures are to reprogram. First thing you may wanna check is the fuse for the keyless entry system. If you have your owners manual available, look in the index and find out which fuse is linked to your keyless entry system. Should be either located in the drivers kick panel or under the hood.

Thanks It's a 95 ES300 I looked at the fuse & it looked ok and the other items on that fuse work ok but I'll try replacing the fuse any way and see if that helps.
