My Newest Custom Mod
 

today i got my newest mod. "Custom Two-tone seats" i only got one seat done this week hope you like them because i love them

yea it was dark when i took them but i take more tommorrow because i have other mod to add

eh.. theyre ok i guess... the shop you went to did a piss poor job of puttin the cover back on the foam.. leather looks real loose... maybe they didnt use enough glue or somethin... but my real question is.. why only 1 seat

why would you do that to a lexus??? way to downgrade.. that is just disgusting

Hmmm. They go with your car because of the color... But you need to work on getting them to fit tighter. Hopefully you'll be able to fix it when the shop works on the other seats.

the reason is i have to pay insurance on my rx330 and es300 so mabey next week i'll get the other seat done. i'm not in a rush, because when i'm finsh it will look much better. the seat is kind of loose but the guy said it will tighten up soon and if don't i just take it back to him and he will redo it its no big deal besides i have a 2004 RX330. as my main ride, my es 300 is just for car shows only and man it going to be so fresh when i'm finshed with it.

and just because it's a "LEXUS" doesn't mean you have to mod you car in a luxury fashion
the way we mods are rides tells us about are who we are. it reflects how we act ,think, and feel.

I wound up liking the car color, but I really don't think it turned out well. I agree the leather definately needs to be taught. It makes it look like the inside of the seat is falling apart!


FYI I like the outside color, but not the color of the leather; I could see trying that on my black leather seats & it wouldn't clash *as* bad, but it's your car <g>)

That looks like tight, actually, although I'd agree the place that did it did a shotty job of it.

I still say it clashes.

Not as good as my Superman covers..! hehehe sweet mate.. I think that it is different and daring.. I got bagged for my Superman covers, but I didnt buy them to say that I was Superman, but to show a little bit of my character.. Now if I was to put Superman symbols on everything like Shaq, then I definately would be opening myself up for critisism... Its good that you got so much enthusiasm!...

if you would just get some high quality stuff and better fit and finish it might look alright. It's your car, whatever you like is good for you, but do it the right way at least so it doesnt look like something you bought at pepboys. Your ideas arnt bad, its just the quality. Lexus is about quality and finish, why don't you try and keep it that way.

However, I love the idea of two tone seats, I think that they are great.

LOL well to address the issue of the seats being loose ya i knew this before i put the pic up and before i left he said it take about 2 weeks for the leather to get tight because its still the first of spring and the leather needs hot air to become tight so that why its loose. like i said before i'm not in a rush to finsh my lexus in time it will look good ...no GREAT
well since you like the seats so well wait untill april 15 to see my next mod :D

Do it and throw it up, it's nice to see stuff I won't spend the money for, and things noone else is doing.
