I’ve taken the instrument cluster out of the dash and removed the backing but I don’t see any way to get to the bulbs. The front is blocked by the face of the instrument cluster and I can’t remove it because the needles are there. The backside/cicuit board can't be removed for the same reason (the needles hold it in place because they’re locked into the circuit board). Is there something I’m missing here? Any insight would be appreciated.
Hello,
So what are you looking to achieve with this Cluster?
I have a sneaking suspicion that your Cluster already comes with the LED Lights in it from the factory, in place of the Fluorescent Tube that was used there in Previous Generations, here is a thread about it. This is also the case for the same generation Camry, at least if this thread is to be trusted, it seems like you will have to pull the Needles off to access the Factory LEDs, and then find a way to Align them correctly before putting the Cluster back together.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

be particular where you place the needles back. it can set things off if you're not careful... mark their location with something before removingOriginally Posted by FLyTula

Thanks for the heads up. I discovered the info about the needles requiring removal shortly after I posted this and called it a day. I’m not going through all the trouble. lol. I appreciate the insight.
