Tips on replacing new Ball Joints?

I’m finally on the last step with my front suspension on my 2000 ES. Is there any tips on removing the old ball joints and installation of the new ones? Is a separator needed? Also, can this be done without removing the axle nut? Thanks

If rust isn't an issue can be done without removing the axle from the knuckle. If there is then you have get more persuasive, check out these videos

Thank You. I will try and see if I can tighten the castle nut enough with my 19mm wrench.
