I have a 2005 ES330 and I was wondering if any other Lexus model seats would fit and function in my car. The perforated leather on all my seats is in very bad shape.
For perforated pretty sure your donor car is 2004-2006 ES330 nothing else will have the same fitment and pattern. When you say bad shape what is wrong with them? Post a few pictures if possible.
Sadly, I fear one can expect that most any perforated leather seat from a 4ES won't be in very good shape. This model was one of, if not the, first model with ventilated / perforated leather seats. The leather just wasn't 'picked & perforated' to last! My own 2005's seats were hidden under crappy seat covers when I bought it, clearly signaling even worse leather underneath, and they were as bad as I expected. The [grey] perforated leather is truly tattered on both front seats and there's a tear or two in the back.
I looked for some comfortable, breathable, aftermarket seat covers that don't go for the inevitable 'original look fail', and found
that I like well enough and have pictured below installed. I was able to find a seat-and-seatback bundle somewhere near there on Amazon that discounted the bundled items a lot.
It's worth noting that the bordering 'vegan leather' is supposed to smooth out and conform to the seat somewhat over time with hot days and the occasional effort to stretch and smooth 'em. This photo was the day of install, and they've indeed smoothed a bit since (although we've had no proper hot days).
Regarding the seat's fan-driven ventilation, it's muffled but still present either heated or chilled. The cover's actual perforated leather is backed by 2-3mm of fairly dense padding that's nice to have, but also slows the ventilation action.
Perforated Leather Seat Covers for [tattered] perforated leather seats. The 4ES front seats are REALLY nice good big seats, but they're too big up top for the modern 'universal partial wrap-around seat cover'. So I managed to fold and tuck what wouldn't fit over... under [around the headrest]! So the tops of these seat covers are well anchored to the headrest supports with my fold-under-hack. Note that the quilted center portion of the seat cover is actually nice genuine cowhide perforated leather, the surround is... not.
