Default Crank bolt torque

How critical is it that it gets torqued (ES330)? I was unable to torque it, so I slammed it on with my ancient Craftsman gun and a 20 gallon compressor. It runs just fine, but what are the odds that it can come loose on me? YES, I will revisit the issue if I have to. I am just wondering if anyone has had the bolt come loose. I did not use any Loctite on the threads and I didn't lube it. (Should I have?) It's not a daily driver, so as such it hardly gets used, meaning I'm not in any kind of bind.

I just did the same with my Milwaukee 1/2" impact. I just kept hitting it till it wouldn't go any more. Did an Aisin kit and don't have a torque wrench that goes that high.
