How do adjustable pedals compare to non-adjustable?
Howdy all,
I took my first ES330 for a test drive recently (a 2004) -- it had adjustable pedals. I had to move them as far down as possible so I could get close enough to the steering wheel to be comfortable. The car I test drove is nice and I'm still considering it, but they want ultra-top-dollar for it so I may consider waiting for a nice 2005 model to come onto the market -- since that would gain me cooled seats and steering wheel controls. Anyway.... there's a lack of quality ES330s in my area - and I don't want to go test drive another one that I'm not genuinely interested in and waste someone's time. So, I was wondering if anyone can tell me: How do adjustable pedal ES330s compare to non-adjustable? Are the non-adjustable pedals in the same position as the adjustable-pedal cars in the all-the-way-down position? Or all-the-way-up position? Or somewhere in between? I'm asking because it might hold weight on how aggressively I should move on the overpriced ES330 I test-drove. I'm "all legs" and it's often hard for me to get close enough to the steering wheel on non-telescoping-wheel cars. Thanks, |
