Some pics from our local joke of a dragstrip
Went down to our local 1/8th-mile parking lot pile of poop joke of a dragstrip last night with an LS1-powered Datsun and a couple of other cars. Here are some pics.
1.) The car on the right is LS1-powered. The car on the left has an RB26DETT-swap. The ultimate rivalry!
2.) This thing has a Volkswagen TDI swap, can you say 45mpg?
3.) HOT HOT HOT!
4.) I guess 275's aren't enough to harness the JDM beast?
5.) The two beasts coming back from their first pass.
6.) Those rims are worth some dollars.
7.) This thing went 7.0 @ 101mph in the 1/8th. Pretty freaking fast!
8.) Easily the sexiest-sounding car there. RB25 with a big single turbo, RWD of course, not a GT-R.
9.) This car is owned by the same guy that has the swapped Volvo wagon. This thing has a Honda B16A swap, he did all the work himself.
