Can You find the "7"
by /photos/purple-bullet/Barbary
Hello; Yes the Purple Bullet is still my daily driver and yes I just did a 2 week 2,500 miles southwest, basically photography tour. The Bullet was flawless in fact very enjoyable. Hours and hours of 80 mph in 100 degrees desert heat, No Problem! It's running like its just getting broken in (closing in on 300,000 miles).
Always getting compliments and constant offers to buy it, usually when I'm driving down the road and I really appreciate the Corbeau seats on trips like this. One thing I've started to like a lot; the engine doesn't shut off every stop light, and its got a nice size trunk
I'm never selling it!
There is a serious Nature made "7" in the photo - Can you find it? Not a shadow Not a cloud
The trip was Great, 2 mandatory places; Monument Valley, Arizona and Pima Air and Space Museum Tucson (the Air Force boneyard) I am an Air Force Vet. Both were quite moving, and a lot of places that just happened.
Like the photo above, yes I know the Grand Canyon is so passe. I met up w a former colleague who lives in Williams Arizona "the Gateway to the Grand Canyon". We had some time so we decided to take a little trip to the Canyon, wasn't expecting much, we had both been there many times. Both considered it little more than a hole in the ground.
This day it was more than spectacular. The colors were brilliant and many, the clouds were unbelievable, more than perfect. Here were two pretty jaded characters walking around all day with our jaws dropped, mouth wide open goin Wow! Working on a may photo album of it
Yes this was the Eagles song, Pretty Kool being on "The Mother Road" in Winslow, Arizona. Take It Easy. folks

Winslow Arizona, Route 66
Photos taken with my Sony a6500 and Zeiss 16-70mm
I upgraded from my a6000, really nice size and weight for traveling as much as I
the Sony a6500 is a powerful upgrade
thanks for viewing______Barbary (Joe)

Great shot of that wrecked DC-3. Looks like it was used for target practice?
Grand Canyon, great sky indeed, any shots showing more of it? Reading up on meteorology myself right now...

I'm working up about a 200 photos album on the Grand Canyon, couldn't stop shooting. I was so lucky on that day it was even more than Grand, much more!
