Has anyone cross-referenced rear shocks?
My brother has a 2012 CT200h F-Sport with about 70K miles on it and has to take speed bumps very slowly. I suspect his rear shocks are probably worn and was wondering what the options are for replacement. I recently cross-referenced eye-to-eye shocks for my 2013 Fiat 500e and found that many Fiat owners have opted to skip the $440 Koni Sport shocks for a set of $28 KYB Gas-A-Just shocks for an 84-87 Chevy Corvette. The body of the shock is a perfect match and the self-adjusting dampening appears to provide better comfort and performance (a dude took 3 seconds off his AutoX lap with these). The only modification is adding bushing sleeves into the eye to make the shock mount inner diameter match the OEM size.
So I was wondering if anyone has cross-referenced rear shocks that fit the CT and how has it worked out?

I got to thinking and searched, the 2011-2016 Scion TC uses essentially the same chassis as the CT200h, so its suspension should work. the fronts almost certainly. they're identical in appearance. tuning and valving may be different but i can't imagine drastically.
The rears i'm fairly certain, they look very similar if not the same. I searched ebay and the front/rear shocks/struts for the 2011-2016 Scion TC seem to match the CT200h. worth taking a look at if you're in a bind and want to get something cheap and fast. i don't know for sure though so don't hold me to it.
