Replaced the stock subwoofer - 8 inch subwoofer
Replaced the stock 6 inch crap subwoofer in the stock enclosure. Basically cutting the ring to fit the 8 inch subwoofer and then drilling in new holes to secure the sub into the housing. I had to cut a piece of the plastic housing behind the subwoofer to fully close the stock enclosure.
I can tell the difference between the stock and after subwoofer, using the stock amp still. https://imgur.com/a/DJpWQ09 |
Nice work!
So, I can't see from the picture you showed, how it all looks with the stock mesh cover, do you mind sharing a picture with the trunk space all buttoned up? Also, few questions:

I have replaced the front door 6x9, 3.5 dash speakers and the sub woofer. 1. Using stock wiring 2. Stock amp 3. Stock headunit with navigation I can hear a difference for sure with the upgraded speakers and subwoofer. Would defintely be better with an aftermarket amp. |
