Post CT200h F Sport mechanical differences and model year structural differences

OK thought I'd put together a small list of differences for the CT200h F Sport based on parts diagram. This is aside from the obvious appearance/option differences. Apparently the F Sport has 73 unique parts, most appearance, trim/associated fasteners, etc.

The F Sport has the following unique mechanical parts:

Springs (Height is same, but rate is presumably different)
Dampers (Presumably firmer)
Rear Sway Bar (Presumably firmer) w/ associated bushings
Brake Booster (Presumably sportier?)
Pedal Travel Sensor and Pedal (after 2/16) this one is interesting. Don't know what it would do. Perhaps recalibrated? Also interesting it's introduced at a later date.
Steering Control Module (Presumably sportier steering/recalibrated?)

And model year differences for safety/structural enhancements for MY 15 cars:
A-Pillar Door Hinge Inner Reinforcement (for small angle crashes)
Center crossmember at the floor (not sure why this is different for 15, but it is) Can presume it's for general structural rigidity, but it is an odd update, but one nonetheless. It goes all the way across the car in the center.

Also I do not see a difference between F sport suspension parts prior to facelift.
I do see 2014 (all models) got a revised top strut nut. Not sure why.

Engine Differences through the years

2014 saw a revised intake manifold.
2014 saw revised pistons
2015 saw revised piston ring sets (to protect against oil loss and blow by)
2015 saw revised intake cam gear to reduce rattle on startup

Second post from this thread got some info from the website for pre-face lift models, mentions only damper differences and not springs:
https://www.ct200hforum.com/forum/le...uspension.html

Don't know if it's the same for 14-17, but with the minimal amounts of changes for this car, maybe it's the same?

I remembered looking at the small overlap crash tests performed better with the later models with additional structural reenforcements on the driver side. 2014 and later ???

Notes: If there's more, I'll update. If you know more, feel free to add.

The F Sport (stock factory) springs have their own specific part number.

I added some info I found on Prius forums.

2014: new pistons
2015: new piston rings and new intake cam gear

post 1 modified.

So if you want the latest and greatest powertrain, go for a 2015+.
