Thats normal for the engine to not start when you turn it on. The battery turns on the car. Go easy on the car for the first few minutes but I personally do not warm up the car.

It's a Toyota engine.. most Toyota owners wouldn't even know why you would need to warm up. It's likely built strong enough for you to not worry about it. Besides, California.. it's 64 degrees today, burrr!

All cars from all manufacturers do not require warm up. That's actually the opposite of what you should do. It's a common thing a lot of "car guys" and non car people alike do... thinking they're "babying" their car by warming it up before driving.

As for the CT, well as said it's a hybrid. The engine will start when it starts. Just drive it. It's a car, not a rocketship =)
