Smile I'm back! 😁 The SC has been replaced

Alright so after a few years of missing my sc300 I've stepped back into another lex, already started modding a bit but I'll be starting a build thread sooner or later with some specifics. Just making my reintroduction to the forum for now, oh and allot of audio related upgrades will be coming as well, doesn't seem to be allot of information floating around on these cars...

I can't remember the seller at the moment but It's an ebay replica lip, most likely Chinese but for 75$ can't complain, I've installed name brand/high dollar parts that fit much much worse...

Welcome! I really like the lip as well, might have to start looking into that. Looking forward to your build.

Thanks man! Not that perfect of a fit, I had to trim the foam tray and I will be using crossflow fans to help keep it cool, the amps have a very small form factor and class a amps get hot so cooling is gonna be priority especially living in Florida, but the foam tray will be trimmed a little more for wiring and fans and once complete I'll rhino line the tray for esthetics and the top cover should fit no problems as well as the spare still being accessible...

Alright I'll just make this my audio build thread to save on additional threads in the sea of threads, here are some pics of my very hacked factory dash mids to convert over to some Sq mids, huge difference already after I installed these, cut the factory mid mounting plate and plug off and attached to the new mid, fits like factory and sounds incredible, these are vifa David Louis 3" full range speakers if anyone is interested,

I've had amps in the foam tray before when I had my old 2016 CT. Excellent location. ran two amps all day long. never heat issues. perfect place for it too.

Just picked up another CT. i'll be doing a build thread too with audio and other mods. Welcome =)

interesting place for a level control. I usually put mine below the dash but it is a chore to reach down there all the time. I remember tearing all this down two years ago on my 2016 CT. now I have to figure out how to do it all over again lol. i completely forgot.

Yeah I couldn't find a convenient place to mount those ***** besides pulling the what I'm assuming is a coin holder and dropping the ***** in its hole, also I had to change up the layout of the amp rack a bit to accommodate the wiring and fans that will be going in, so this is the current state of affairs at the moment, amp rack/cargo tray after being moddified has been rhino lined also to add strength and beauty 😁

Made more progress

Two cross flow fans installed for peace of mind

Pretty lights 😉

Cover panel conceals dsp, also made a cover panel for amp wires and everything is sprayed in rhino lining

Cover opens and clears sub box perfectly and spare tire still accessible

Got some initial settings in
