Default Check PCS system error and System not ready message

Hello,

My name is Kamil. I am from Poland and my 2011 CT is from Italy. I hope someone from this forum can help to bring my lexus back to full operational.

I purchased this car from private person and it had couple issues.
Previous owner had an accident on the right side of the car and he probably replaced the front right seat belt, that not match this version (with dynamic cruise). The only error seend in OBD indicated an issue with the seat belt.
I've purchased proper seat belt and replaced it in Poland lexus dealer for 1 364 USD in total.
Currently there are no more errors checked within OBD, but some functions are still not working.

1. When shifting to reverse gear, there is a message on the screen "System not ready" and no red/yellow/green lines are displayed.
Exactly the same as here https://priuschat.com/attachments/im...190-jpg.29669/
https://priuschat.com/threads/park-a...working.92793/

#Park assist works fine.

2. When i turn on cruise control, there is a message "Radar ready", but once i push the lever to set the speed, it display the speed limit for half of the second and then display yellow triangle with exclamation markand message "Check PCS system". Similar thread found on Prius forum:https://priuschat.com/threads/check-...arning.145506/

I am sure that PCS system somehow works fine, as i had one situation when overtake another car and i get too close to it too quickly and there was warning message and sound to avoid an accident (the car didn't break as i control the situation and change the lane in the same time the alert raised).

Lexus dealer does not have any idea why it's not working properly (they were figuring out where is the problem for more than 2 weeks... that's why the price is so high)

I found couple of threads in this forum, but non of this has a solution.

I am afraid my problem is related with below post..

Small update:

I've checked CC in standard mode - the same result, but first "Check Cruise Control System" message appear, then "Check PCS system".
I guess it's not about PCS system, but it's about CC components..

The two systems are tied together since they both use a radar sensor. I'm not sure what the problem is, but a good diagnostician should be able to check for internal error codes. That's why it's strange that the dealer can't figure it out. I hope you get it resolved soon.

I can tell you that at 378,000 miles (2014 model), I have never had a problem with my radar cruise or my PCS system.
