2014-2017 CT200h owners, please chime in

Did a search and didn’t see anything on this - it’s been known that the 2011-2013 CT200h rear is a dirt magnet, apparently a consequence of the low coefficient drag. With that said, 2014+ owners, do you notice the rear of the car being covered with dirt/dust within days of washing the car? Even better is for those who have made the jump from the 2011-2013 model to the newer facelifted CT to chime in, but anyone can give their input! Thanks in advance!

Yes. A dirt magnet, especially on dark colored cars. I also notice that the Lexus emblem and other trim on the rear deck leaks water after washing the car, so I either have to drive for a while and then wipe it off, or use a leaf blower to blow it dry before driving.

2011-2013s suffer from the same fate. Top of rear trunk is a magnet. You either live with it or clay bar it monthly

Update.... I cant read.... No experience but i am sure 2014+ have the same issue. That rear wing appears to (more than likely) push dirt down onto the same places

My 2014 always gets dirty at the rear first. After some rain, you see it right away. The rest of the body is able to shift the wind and water away as I drive, but it all collects at the rear and looks like I was driving on the beach. I'll take pictures next time it happens if I remember.

As far as the F Sport wing, it sends water misting at the rear window through the two openings, and might be related to why the rear gets so dirty.

F-sport or not, pre-14 or not, its the drains from the roof that flow under the rear "spoiler" which trickles down the window/top hatch... Does the drag coefficient do much here? probably, pushes the water, as mentioned post-rain, down into that area.

Yep. I have a '14 Ultra White F-Sport and it gets covered in a thin layer of dust/dirt in a matter of days after a wash. I used to be OCD and would take a hose and rinse off the back of the car weekly but I realized that was a losing game so I've given up altogether until the next wash. At most all I do now is RainX the hell out of the back rear window which helps keep dirt/dust off since it's more 'slippery'.
