Question About Headlights

Generalization but HIDs will give you better light output versus LEDs. With HID conversions (from halogen) you will need to add a ballast and should only be used with projector lenses because of the throw, they also have a warm-up period they so are not ideal for high beam use.
I replaced my high beams, low beams and fog lights to 6000K LEDs and am very happy with the quality and results. IMO they are a cost efficient and labor efficient upgrade from stock. The output is certainly not as high as HID but better than the stock halogens, they look much cleaner and do not require any special wiring - plug and play. If you go the LED route, get fan-less bulbs because the fans are notorious for failure which causes the bulb to over-heat and become non functional.

I put in auxbeam F-16 and love them. I have morimoto HIDs in my Infiniti...
Similar output. LED's are instantaneous instead of needing 20-30 seconds to warm up and get bright like HID's
