Default Disable 2011 CT200h seat belt alarm

I would like to disable the seat belt "Beep" alarm. Any help specific to the 2011 CT200h would be much appreciated.

The dealer can do this, and there are apps that can too, if you have a compatible OBD2 connector. This is what I use:

A different chime that was specific to the CT and the HS (and perhaps other hybrids I'm not familiar with)
triggers when the car is in reverse...the whole damn time the car is in reverse. NOT outside the car as
in a Garbage Truck but inside. Fortunately this one can be changed by the dealer or Carista to be a
single chime confirming that you did select reverse and then silent running.

The first thing I did was get Carista so I could turn that reverse beep off...but I don't remember it having a seatbelt chime on/off option?

It may have been added later, but I can disable both the driver and passenger seatbelt chimes with my copy.

Carista is simplest option. Techstream+OBD2 cable is cheapest option.

Agree with Ron on the tech steam. It's the best option in my opinion and something every owner should have. One trip to the dealer to reset a service hybrid system error message when you pulled out a fuse under the hood would pay for it 4x maybe 5.

With a fleet of 3 Toyotas in my driveway, it has been proven a useful tool. Also have several family members and friends that have benefited from it also.
