2012 CT200 Special Edition value
I just bought this car from the original owner. I thought my wife could drive it for work but she say's its too small.
So I'm considering selling it. I didn't know much about the model or trim level when I bought it but I've come to find out it is somewhat rare since Lexus only made 900 of these cars. The condition is like new. Still smells like new. It has all the normal options and an original sticker price of approximately $38,000 plus. Dealer maintained with a complete service record. I would appreciate any guidance from the club members here as to what the selling price should be if I decide to sell the car. Thank you.

Post pics, I've never heard of a special edition one... unless it's that green/goldish color :/

That was the first year they offered the F-Sport package:

They aren't exactly collector's items so your hope of cashing in on the rarity can be taken off the table. Just go with KBB and Nada and price it in the middle of those two.

I had one and it being the F Sport Special Edition made no difference in value at trade in time. They were more interested in overall condition and mileage.

Thanks guys for the advice. Im driving the car now and really like it. But still can't justify keeping it as I have a truck and another Lexus already. Hate paying all the insurance.

I like it, love it, actually, but doubt it has any additional emphasis on resale or selling, period.

I have the 2012 F sport SE, it's not that much different over the F-Sport, just comes with NuLux *blue tinted* seats, custom Tumi luggage, chassis braces and front/rear sway bars and fsport lowering springs.
