wind shield replacement
My front windshield recently got cracked by a rock. I am trying to get it replaced. insurance is only footing half of the bill -_- . i want to get an oem windshield but not from the dealer. does anyone here recommend a place in los angeles ?

Big chains like Safelite can order a shield from the dealer and install it if you request it. If you ordered a dealer unit and had it installed at a dealership, it's likely a Safelite guy would be the installing company.

If anyone in the Bay Area needs a recommendation, these guys quoted me $310 out the door. This is without the wiper de-icer since I don't need it where I live.
I've used them once 4 years ago for my '93 Volvo, couldn't believe they only charged my $140. Great guys and review:
