i have a stress crack on my windshield with no evidence at all from a rock or debris. Can Lexus cover this as warranty if my vehicle is still covered under warranty. I have insurance with a $500 deductible for comprehensive. I have rain sensing wipers and was told that it could void the warranty on them if I dont use Lexus for windshield replacment. Can someone like Safelite use OEm Lexus glass and change it wothout the warranty being voided for the wipers?

I don't think a warranty would ever cover a cracked windshield, however I would check to see if your insurance company had a special deductible for windshields. My Insurance deductible is $1000, however it is always $200 for windshields. In some parts of Canada, you actually get a free windshield every year with your insurance, or so I hear. You have to pay a bit more if you want a brand name windshield however when I got mine done, there were no aftermarket windshields available so I got an OEM Lexus windshield for the $200. The only person who could answer the warranty question definitively is the dealer so just give them a call and ask.
