Will it rub? Stock 17" with 215/50/17 tyres
Hi guys,
As you probably know the stock size tyre for the 17inch rims is 215/45/17. My '11 CT200h is just too low in my opinion and uncomfortable that I made the decision to increase the side wall. Going to 16 inch rims is not something I want.
The question is, will it rub? I have searched everywhere, but I have not seen anyone fitting a larger tyre on the stock 17 inch rims.
I have been thinking about this for a while and today I went to the tyre shop to fit the tyres, but the guy there told it might rub and I will not be able to return the tyres once they are fitted. This again made me insecure..
