Default Test Fit

I did the test fit of the new 19" rims and they fit with lots of room to spare!

Looks awesome, can't wait for the completed pix. I also like the F side badge.

The brakes look fantastic. How much did they set you back?

I did some enthusiastic driving in the canyons with my 16 ct200h f sport before and I was not confident with them. Good thing the car couldn't go so fast! They stopped but felt spongey and resistant to stop after they got a few turns into them

Thanks guys!
Yes I agree the braking power could be increased even though it is not a very powerful car. My front bbk package was about $1800 USD and that included everything, even shipping. That is an incredible price for bbks, at least from what I've seen. I have ordered the niche wheels and they will be in next week so I can FINALLY install the brakes and write a real review. In preparation I painted my back rotors.

I finally got my new rims and was able to put my brakes on after all this time. I am really happy with them so far but I will post more information about them once I drive more on them and I will also post information about the install.

This isn't the best tutorial but at least it is something (use at your own risk!). It was actually pretty straight forward. Note that you have to permanently remove the heat shield. I just used a Dremel drill for this. The part that I struggled with the most was getting the new brake line to mimic the old one. I had to bend the metal attachments in just the right way to get it to not rub against anything. The kit also came with shims to center the caliper but I didn't end up using them because it seemed centered to me. I am not an expert though so I may end up wearing the pads unevenly. I will have to keep an eye on it.

Looks great from a performance guy's stand point.

However this is so funny to see someone doing a BBK on a CT200h. That car is the slowest car in the world and I bet with the added weight you probably just killed the MPG which is what this car was meant for? My wife won't let me do anything to her car that would affect MPG since that is the main purpose of this car.
