Default Shadowline window trim

Planning on vinyl wrapping the chrome trim around the windows in gloss black. Has anyone done this mod?

Yes, I'd highly recommend using 3M 1080 metallic black. You should also wrap the window pillars.

Thank you for sharing.

Sorry, other than the pics that are in the build link in my signature, I don't have any more. I might take some pics later since added a couple more mods.

Yep, this car is the first time I have ever used vinyl - and I have wrapped a *****load of my car lol. I'd say the windows were probably the easiest to wrap since there aren't many curves. If cost is a factor, definitely try it yourself before bringing it into a shop. eBay is the cheapest place I found for vinyl and has them by the square foot.

I had left over vinyl from when I wrapped my roof, so I just used that. But you can just measure the from the front lower part of the driver/front passenger window up around to the rear lower part, what will be your longest length needed. Each window will need to be wrapped in 2 parts (the back curve of the rear passenger windows were a bit tricky).

I can sell you smaller strips of vinyl materials if you want to DIY. May be easier/cheaper than having to buy larger sections of material.
