Default CT200 OEM Fog Light part number

Its been some time, but my driver's side fog light is shattered and I need to replace the light. I see plenty of aftermarket fog lights on ebay and other sites, but I want OEM. I also see LED fog lights and I'm not interested in those either.

Ultimately, I just want it back to stock. If the quality of aftermarket is just-as-good, I'd consider that although I want to have it recommended by someone so I know the quality is good.

Are they glass or plastic? I have a 2011 Prius with OE fogs -- they are glass. We shattered one and when I bought my 2015 CT a few months ago my plan was to get something better for the CT and switch at least one of the CT's over to the Prius.

What I discovered. I have the highest level Prius -- comes with LED headlights and the optional halogen bulb Fog lights. The OE glass fogs are worthless -- they add nothing. I figured it was because the LED headlights are so good .. they are good. We never used the fogs.

When I bought the CT -- the CT fogs are even worse ... and I don't have the HID headlights! Doing some research I discovered that Toyota uses the same lights for many vehicles. My CT lights would interchange with the Prius.

Figured I would get a pair of the projection fogs for the CT. When I removed the CT's fogs I discovered that they are actually cheap plastic and not as deep as the units on the Prius -- the Prius have H11 50w bulbs the CT's are H16's and something like 20w ... no wonder the CT's really don't do anything! They don't have to be as deep with the less powerful bulb -- although the CT has the room for the higher watt fog.

So -- just go with the aftermarket units. Even if yours are glass -- they don't work very well ... and the aftermarket cost a fraction of the OE's. Also, with some miles the fogs always get sand blasted a bit -- I'm sure your other is not as new. I would never buy the plastic OE units that came on my CT -- junk ... the glass units are not cheap and better options available.

You can put a plastic protective skin over the lens. I have done this for a few cars, including the CT I once owned.
