I replaced my front brake pads at 85,000 miles. I haven't yet replaced the 12 V battery. Still going strong as far as I can tell.

Living in a warmer climate like California vs. colder climate will make the 12V battery last longer.

That would explain it. It also makes it easier on tires. My most recent tire replacement was at 146,000 miles. I still have over half my tread and I'm over 60,000 miles on this set of Michelin pilot MXM4.
