Exclamation What's the OEM wheel sizes, offsets ~ got some spare Volks/Works want to try fitment

I'm not a fan of any of the OEM wheels so this is one of the first upgrades I plan to do for my wife's car!

Anyone know the factory wheels/offsets?

Looking to get something slightly more aggressive but not of that hellaflush crap

Who else has changed their wheels? Post up some pics!

Hey man, I'm starting to see several posts from you on here, did you just get a CT recently? I would look over on CT200hforum.com, there is a lot more useful info. there IMO. Are you a member on there? But to start you in the right direction, here are some links to posts over there that should be very helpful!

thanks - will check out that site later! We have not bought a car yet - plan to take delivery end of this month since we ordered a more unique optioned car.

Is this car really a 5 x 100 lug pattern? I would think it's 5 x 114.3

Hi rick! I see uve taken a strong liking to the ct haha. Im starting to look around for a good fitment size as well. I heard +35offset witha decent drop starts giving little problems...

My wife needs a good commuter so we wanted something safe and also looks good for her.

Probably going to do +40 all around and stick with 225/40/18 tires for her daily commute since I don't want the rim/tire combo to ruin the MPG. This is the whole reason we bought the car!

Stock specs on Lexus CT 200h wheels:

17x7, 5x100, +45

Current specs on the wheels I'll be getting rid of soon, but with good fitment and not too flush,

19x8.5, 5x100, +42

Really? How so and who have you heard this from? That's news to me. I don't have any issues, nor am I even close to rubbing.

Why are you getting rid of yours? And after reading a lot of your posts it seems like you have big plans for your ct. When will it be done?

Wow, that's a shame Lexus went with that bolt pattern on the CT.....doesn't make any sense. I was planing on putting my Volks on the CT when I get it but now I'm extremely disappointed. lol

Agreed, 5x100 is a weak lug pattern for lesser cars - high performance cars all use the 5x114.3 grrrr

Weaker please explain. I love posts like this weaker as in how exactly. This car produces 100hp or so....you think they shear lugs. I've not even seen 4x100's shear. Just buy strong lug bolts if there are issues. This car isn't designed to race or take extreme power.

Lol, I meant it as slang for a lousy pattern since it limits your wheel selection! Not actual strength hahaha
