At what intervals to change automatic transmission fluid (ATF)?
This seems to be somewhat controversial over at Priuschat. I'm approaching 30k and am inclined to change it base on previous car ownership, although some say that the ATF for the CT and Prius should last the life of the car. The guys at Priuschat did send it out for some analyst with their ATF, even before hitting 30k and indicated that it was quite contaminated. I am planning to change it along with the brake fluid at the dealership. I did do my own oil change at 6k and found it to be quite dirty and smelly.
Anyone do their own ATF exchange?
Here's the Prius discussion if anyone is interested in the long thread:

Well, it doesn't cost too much and there's no downside so why not. The wear of the break-in period has already occured by 30k miles, so new oil doesn't contaminate as quickly I think.

Definitely have your ATF changed. I had mine changed at 60K miles along with changing my brake fluid as well. Over time the ATF will break down and become a darker color and our transmissions work a littler harder since it is a four cylinder engine.
So far I have over 79K miles on my CT 200h...
