...or atleast it's predicted reliability is ranked on the top of their survey.

But why normal Prius isn't more reliable?

Are there any mechanical differences between the 2015 model listed and the 2011? Outside of in cabin stuff like the difference in the display screen and all that, are the guts that actually make a car reliable still the same?

Note that Prius C is predicted to be the most reliable model for Toyota. Overall, the difference between the CT and Prius is going to be minutely negligible. I am glad that I bought a Toyota based hybrid and the most reliable vehicle to boot.
Congrats Toyota and to all us Toyota/Lexus branded car owners.

I don't think there is any significant difference. They're using the historical reliability of these older cars to derive predicted reliability for the 2015 model right?

Congratulations to the CT 200h. It's a great car for what it is. One thing to note the CT doesn't have any serpentine belts, or a timing belt (does have a timing chain). Brake pads can last up to 100K miles...so yeah the CT has less parts that can age or go wrong. Also the CT doesn't have an alternator or a starter...
