Question Anyone have factory LED headlights? Got a problem with mine. [PIC included]

My 2014 F Sport w/ LED headlights look like this at night. There's a noticeable gap in between my lane and the one to my left:

Pic is blurry because I used the zoom to focus on the trouble spot

I have more pictures if needed, but don't you guys think this is strange? Service advisor at the Lexus dealer I bought the car from thinks this is normal, and how LED headlights look. I don't buy that for a second, or that Lexus/Toyota would design headlights like this and consider it acceptable and build it like that.

Has anyone ever seen this before?

Looks like a normal cutoff pattern to me for just about any projector headlight (halogen, hid, or led). Search for images of "projector cutoff" and you will get a ton of examples. It is meant to prevent glare to oncoming traffic. In left-hand drive markets, the pattern is reversed.

This is what I see against my garage door. Is it normal for the left side part where the beam moves down a bit to show a noticeable gap versus the right side where the beam drops down? Is that what you mean? I looked at pictures of cutoff patterns like you said, and it looks like they are all uniform, while mine don't seem to be.

Like DarkMastyr mentioned it looks completely normal due to cutoff position for the lights.

Take a look at the areas I circled. I understand that the light has to lower itself on the left side, but is the gap in the left circle normal? There isn't one on the right.

Look at this picture as a comparison:

What do you guys think?

Seems like there is a little bit of extra light bleeding to the left... not sure if that is part of the design or not. Best way is if someone else with CT & LED lamps can show their pattern.

I have LED headlights on my '12 and they were far worse (as far as the light angle) to the road. I could only see about 10-15ft ahead, so I had to raise both sides to get them to point ahead of the car to see at night.

As far as the cutoff goes, mine have the same shape, but a more "crisp" and fine cutoff. I'll get some pics of mine tonight and post them up so that we can compare.

I talked to the diagnostic specialist at my dealer. He told me that this is just how Lexus designs their LED lenses. We did a test where we blocked each headlight, and sure enough, we saw that each headlamp was projecting the same thing. Here are some pics I took at home that kinda shows it. (The further away the lights are from the wall, the better, for clarity and precision. I can't go far enough here, but it should still be clear enough.)

Both headlights
