Lexusrus, I have the 2012 CT200h, is it an easy install? Been reading the reviews on this and there are some instructions where you have to do some soldering and drill hole in dust cover.
Also some say it might be too bright and oncoming cars flashing thinking the high beams are on, one guy even got pulled over by a cop?
I bought some a HID kit a while ago but haven't install them but very interested in purchasing these if it's easier to install.

NO PROBLEMS WITH COPS. If the original headlights/fogs are at factory specs, then no problems. Just make sure the LED stalk are orientated correctly with the two LED emitters on the LED stalk pointing left and right, not up and down. This is for the LEDs I got, not for some others shown here. Also make sure you have the OEM factory "projector lens" on your LOW BEAM light housing. My 2013 CT200h does. Just look at your light housing by standing at the front bumper. The low beams on mine has a built in lense projector which looks different than the high beams which does not have a lense projector built in. I think most late model Lexus cars are set up this way already. The lense projector helps to project the light correctly. If you put the LED bulbs into the high beam socket, you will certainly be blinding people due to too much light scatter. If you see the pics I posted on here (the one inside a garage) with low beams on with the newly installed LED bulbs, it showed a very nice sharp light beam cut off so it will not blind oncoming traffic.
Definitely easier with the LEDs I got vs the HIDS you got.

As stated before, H11 for lows and fogs, fanless LEDs and h7 (high beam) fanless LEDs for my 2012.
I never use my high beams other than as a notification tool, so I could care less about scatter.

There is no dust cover for the CTs, at least not on mine.
I didn't change out the high beams bc I figured at the time several years ago (back then I did not know how reliable these LEDs are. But now the LEDs are proven reliable.) if for some reason the LEDs failed, I still have the old reliable halogen high beams for backup.
No regrets. All good. It is just a question of how much you want to spend on this. Name brands vs generic.

anyone have install pics? id like to see how you guys are orienting the bulb. with the leds pointing left/right? OR, opposite where the leds are pointing up/down?
I also picked up a set of their fog light bulbs. Only problem is they updated the fog bulbs from their ( H11 LED Bulb 30W CREE LED Fog Light Bulbs 5000K ) to their new ones ( H11 Xtreme LED CMB-series Fog Light Bulbs 5000K). It sucks because they updated / changed them literally a couple of days after I bought them to the new style. I would have much rather paid a few bucks more and had the new style.
I will say these are really nice LED's. They match the stock running lights perfectly and the light performance is excellent. I know there are cheaper options out there but in my experience, cheap is not good, good is not cheap. I would rather pay a few bucks more and buy it once. Knowing that if there is ever a problem, I can pick up the phone and call the company. I liked these so much I picked up a set of highs and lows for my 2001 Landcruiser. I will post up a shot tonight, only problem is it will be a cell phone shot.
