Default Another accomplishment...The hood

So I was able to wrap the hood today. I had to use the knife less tape which takes some getting used to. It's not perfect but overall it's going well for someone who never wrapped anything before.

I still have to do the front bumper which will pull the hood together nicely. That will probably be for next weekend since the whole bumper will have to come off to make the wrap easier.

Not bad if you are a young guy going for a "tuner" look but my wife will never allow such a look on a DD, way too aggressive for a stock body car.

I'm not going for the "tuner" look, just a unique one. Something a little different from everyone else.

Looks good. Are you going to amplify the spindle with the wrap on the bumper?

yes, the plan hopefully for this weekend is to wrap just the center part of the front bumper to tie in the hood and give it the spindle look (though I hate how the 2014 looks with the spindle grille).

I'm gonna have the Mirrors and center bumper wrapped in CF pattern. Can't wait to see yours done. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

Thank you.
I watched some Youtube vids of the experts wrapping mirrors and it looks pretty easy, but experts are supposed to make things look easy. I think the CT mirrors won't be too bad to do, especially when the housing comes apart.

Interesting look. If I had a white car, I probably would've done the whole hood in CF but, that's just me. I wish someone would come out with a CF hood and CF trunk. Our stock truck lid weighs quite a but, it could just be the dampers...
