Default Windshield Wiper Heater

I was looking at a 2012 model and saw it came with the winshield wiper heater. When I got home I looked at my windshield and it has the heating elements in it, but I don't have a button to turn it on. I have a 2011 model and think for that year it was only a Canadian option. Does anyone know how to connect the windows heating element to a power source? Is this somehing I could do myself or would the dealer have to do it, if even possible? I live in the midwest and this would be a great option to have for the winter since the wipers do ice up a lot.

I'll assume have NAV.. If so click on Climate, on the lower right of that sccreen click on the wiper con and it will show a green or yellow line... it is now on.

Nice work Bob. Still don't get why Lexus did that for the NAV versions, makes no sense to have to go thru the NAV to turn that on, does it?

HI, Canadian models without navigation have a wiper blade de-icer button, located below the mirror controls and dash dimmer switch.

Don't worry about it. It doesn't work anyway, At least mine doesn't and the dealer says it is operational.
