2012 ct. Heater doesnt work. cause?
Bought a used 2012 f sport with 177k at the end of july, put 9k miles on it so far (im a courier) and theres no heat coming from the vents. I set it to 85 or High. heated seats works (only thing keeping me warm) a/c works, and the fan pressure works so im guessing its not a bad blower motor. never had a engine temp light go off and coolant level seems to be stable. thermostat? resistor? similar issues?
The previous owner of this car did not care for it well, it has a timing gasket leak uses about 1qt of oil every 2000-2500 miles, the brakes are sticking so i need to replace a caliper also. plan on getting the egr valve, pipe, and intake manifold cleaned along with the spark plugs changed since im assuming the previous owner didnt do them at the 120k interval.

is this plugged in? maybe check fuses? looks like our cars use this to generate heat. air blows over the fins. located above heater core. i assume behind the dash.
