So this weekend was a success...got the air compressor fixed and work was completed on the car. So what was done? Let me show you:
The begining...like many ct's having the light interior headliner and pillars:
So out comes the major plastic pieces:
B pillars C pillars are removed and broken down to be plastic dipped black. The reason i used plastic dip is twofold; 1) I can remove it without much work and 2) the dry time is so much quicker.
Once the rest of the ceiling parts are removed (lights, visors, oh ***** handles) out comes the headliner. Once removed i treated the roof with some sound deadener:
With the headliner out the transformation begins:
I'm wrapping the headliner in black comfort suede that my company sells in their Install Bay line (CS-ONYX-3 is the part number).
The A-pillars get the same treatment:
And so does the sunroof cover:
Now the light housings, oh ***** handles, and felt trim around the sunroof are still grey. I really like the contrast however i may dip the light housings and try and fine black oh ***** handles...but not really sure yet. So here are the results:
So that's the reason i got the black sun visors
