i bought (barely used, but no return option) some very nice wheels and tires. 225/45 R17. the wheels are 17x7 with a 40mm offset. now comes the DUMB part: i bought the wrong bolt pattern. 114.3. if i use a wheel adapter (maybe 20mm or 25mm) will all this fit and not rub? anyone tried this? i can resell the wheels and tires, but it was a SCrEAMIN deal. well, i thought it was, anyway...

thanks for any input. and yes, i know wheel adapters are not ideal. i won't buy cheap ones.

Not a fan of wheel adapters. I personally would resell the rims and tires for a profit and find some correct rims for the CT
