So I'm thinking of getting diffeerent wheels for my Starfire CT. I have narrowed down the choices to either this in a 17":

or this one in matte black in 17":

there is about a $400 difference in price between the two. I like both and I think they would look really good either way.

Check out TSW Wheels as well as FIVE:AD Wheels, as they both have 5x100 as a fitment and plenty of fitment options. We also have a Lexus CT200h here we will be fitting some Avant Garde Wheels on soon!

IMO, the matte black will blend in with the tires...not a fan. The enkei wheel style I do like. I'm pretty sure the only fitment you'll be able to run is the 17x8 et 40 unless you want to run small spacers.

The Konigs feel like something that should be on a civic/240/corolla, and not at the class level of the CT. The blue does work with the little hints of blue Lexus has thrown all over the CT, though. I would get a verification on the offset of those wheels too, just in case.

I've been shopping for wheels myself and I think that a +35 offset would be perfect for this car. The wheels are already so sunken that keeping the +45 wouldn't look good with shiny new wheels. +40 wouldn't be enough for me either.

stockers are a +45 and the Enkei's are a +40 17x8, but I thought they had a +45 17x8. the +40 17x8 They will stick out a little and may create an issue if I decide to lower the car.
the Konigs are a +45 17x7 so fit pretty much like stock. I hear you on the look of the Konigs. They do have a tuner car look to them.

TSW makes a nice wheel and so many choices. luckily there is no rush.

An offset of +40 will not rub on these cars...35 maybe if you're dookie slammed. Plus, if you run 17 x 8 +45 you have to consider rubbing on the inside.

Not yet, however we always have very, very competitive pricing! However, we are even more so focused on making sure all our clients receive the correct fitment that is guaranteed to work with their car. Regardless if they are looking for a wheel that fits like OEM, or if they want something a little more aggressive, yet still want to make sure they don't rub!

For instance, we just finished a setup for a client with a 2012 Accord Coupe who had a very particular fitment he wanted to achieve. Read about the Accord wheel setup here.

We are going to try to get some aggressive fitments on our CT200h here, so that way we can let you all know how much you can push it without running into any issues!

Tsw= gas mileage killers. Way too heavy, been there done that now have works.

TSW has a rotary forged line that is very fairly priced. It's also stronger and lighter than their regular cast wheels. There are other options as well such as Forgestar, Enkei, BBS and soon Avant Garde wheels too.

Bewteen the two, I like the Enkei. It's a clean 5 spoke design, IMO, you can't go wrong with that.

I'm going to put some money away for now and see what happens in a couple of months. There is nothing wrong with the stock wheels, they still spin in a circle, so they will do fine for now.

That's really the same decision I came down to in my search. I'll wait until the tires give out and swap in some new wheels with tires at that time.
