So I test drove a 2012 and 2013 back to back, and for some reason the 2013 felt a bit quieter, more refined, and more comfortable with less of a bumpy ride.

I thought maybe it was just the cars, but I did read that supposedly the 2013 got improved "dampening systems" for ride comfort.

Is any of this true? I can't really find much information on it. Or is it hogwash, and both 2012 and 2013 are structurally the same with no improvements?

As far as i know, they are pretty much the same. Did you drive an two base models? FSport models?

Could have been a slight change to springs / shocks and lexus could have not even mentioned it....

It was base vs base, but I also drove an f sport and that felt nice and tight too.

Ill check out the "new car features" when i get back to work next week, and see if it notes any suspension changes.
