Used grey metallic plastidip on the chrome, relocated the license plate - pre spacer install
spacers 25mm rear 20mm front
mirror relocation bracket
now the mirror isn't blocking half my view
did some other mods too, 5000k HID in headlights, LEDs in all the interior lights. Thinking that's it for awhile!

Not necessarily...
If I build one, it will be similar to this one:

See, we are lucky because we have that useless foam piece over the spare tire that is just designed to raise the rear trunk height to match the battery pack height. I think we could actually use those hollow spaces to our advantage and have a sub on each side, and use the hollow space as a resonance chamber. Then you could drill a hole about 1.5"-2" in diameter in the carpet of the removable side panels, and a ton of base would blast out! You could probably find a chrome ring of the same diameter to make it look pro!
that is why, unlike the design above, I would put the amp in the middle, and have two 10" subs at an angle on each side. Then the resonance chambers I mentioned would work better. Then to top it all off, I would put a plexiglass window on the top at trunk height, line the wooden housing with carbon fiber vinyl, and add some blue LED's to illuminate the amp and subs... I think it would look amazing!
(Just make sure you add length to all the wires so you can remove the entire unit to get the spare tire and jack out... Ideally it could be designed with hinges or a lift mechanism but I think that is just getting too complicated!)
I feel like the moderator should think about making these posts about the sub another topic because I was just thinking it's OT.

I made a box on the left side floor and took out the compartment. Cut a little of the foam to for a JL 10tw1 in there. Mount the amp under the passenger seat and keep the foam in place to save weight. Also to get to the spare much easier.
